You can enjoy the newly expanded 18-hole Course. Complete with driving range and putting green. Or live nearby at the Whispering Creek Adult Living retirement community in Vulcan, Alberta.
The Kinettes walking path for everyone to enjoy.
With over 3 kilometers of paved walking trail future additions will include lighting and continuation of the path around the town.
At any time of the day one might meet a neighbor couple enjoying a stoll together, families with children riding bikes or someone walking the dog.
This walking path can be used year round.
While walking I have enjoyed watching prairie sunsets over the Rocky Mountains to the west or relaxing on one of the many park benches provided by the different community service clubs.

To really appreciate what the area is all about pick up your free Map by the Vulcan Kinettes at the Vulcan Tourism and Trek Station.
Take A Star Trek and Science Walk
- the map can be picked up for free at the Toruism and Trek Station and many of the local businesses.
Tin Man Triathlon is know all over Alberta as one of the best mini-triathlons! The town and surrounding area become part of the race each spring. Everyone has the opportunity for Active Living.
Here you can use the outdoor swimming pool, walking path, 6 parks, recreation center and athletic fields, or the ball diamonds and soccer filed.
Winter Recreation
With pike weighing up to 30 pounds, Badger Reservoir, Alberta is definitely a hot spot for Ice Fishing. Located in the southeast corner of the county of Vulcan.

Tickets sell January 19, 2008 10:00am at the Lomond Community Centre.

Hockey, figure skating and curling will keep you busy. Playing, watching or cheering for your favorite team. Its all great fun!
The Cultural and Recreation Centre is often used for community groups with annual dinners and performances, concerts of all types and conventions and fairs.
Keeping fit is part of living. The Bodyworks Gym facility is one of the best equipped gyms in Southern Alberta.
