Vul-Con Trekkie Troopers - one of the many Red Hat Society Chapters here in the County of Vulcan. Ever wonder what this group is about? Sharp Ideas for Scrapbookers - An annual membership for the 'Tool Room' enables scrapbookers the use of a variety of tools at a reasonable cost. Classes and space is available at the Scrapbook Cafe in Vulcan. Communities in Bloom - The Village of Arrowwood, the Village of Champion and the Town of Vulcan all participate in this National Program. Do you know who was the winner in 2007? FlyingClub 2007 - A Fly-in Breakfast at the Vulcan Airport. This club is active with a meeting once a month in the new terminal building and they provide and encourage flying in the area. This annual event is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. Have you seen the Helicoter Take-Off video?
Train Days
- Model trains and gardens are a much loved combination by this club. Once a year this event is held at a local Garden Centre in the County of Vulcan.
