Sharp Scrapbooking Ideas
Scrapbook Café
Recently, I was enjoying a cup of tea and a light lunch at the cafe. While there Lillian Duxbury co-owner of the Scrapbook Cafe and a Scrapbooking Expert engaged me in conversation about how my Travel business was doing. Fantastic! So much is happening.
I remarked that I did need an idea for a brochure I was mailing out with the City of Lethbridge for the Communities in Bloom 2008 Symposium. She briefly took time to describe a scrapbooking technique that might work.
A beginner scrapbooking class was being held that evening and I was invited to attend so that we could work further on my brochure idea.
Because of her willingness to help, suggestions and genuine interest we were able to create the basis for my ‘Memories of Alberta’ brochure. “I had the idea and within minutes she was able to pull it out and put it into something concrete." says Debbie Wakelam, Travelonly Consultant
Lillian has a passion for scrapbooking and believes in helping others. “Scrapbooking supplies can be expensive” so she has provided an affordable $25 annual membership fee for the ‘Tool Room’.
This gives beginners and others the opportunity to use all the tools required to produce a scrapbook without a huge output of money.
Check out this local store for your supply needs and layout ideas. The Scrapbook Cafe is a great source for classes, ideas for scrapbook layouts, memories, cropping, and scrapping info and a cup of coffee!
